About the Job

The Injection Molding Machine Setter is responsible for preparing, starting, and supervising production on machines used in the manufacturing of plastic products. They monitor the process and ensure its stability. The ideal candidate has knowledge of the injection molding process, machine construction, and uses lean tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Changing molds in accordance with the SMED method
  • Setting and adjusting machine parameters to ensure optimal product quality
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Monitoring process parameters
  • Optimizing production processes
  • Inspecting the technical condition of machines
  • Collaborating with maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues
  • Troubleshooting issues in the injection molding process
  • Reporting during meetings and completing checklists
